Ok, I just heard some people talking about how the Kramer thing started and aparently, he just yelled "Fuck you nigger" with no punch line after the first heckle. So yeah, screw him, I guess he wasn't really trying to go for a joke.
Those guys are pure douchebags for asking for compensation because their feelings were hurt, though. And he actually said "I believe in free speech, but there should be restrictions on it."
So yeah, they're both idiot assholes. I honestly think comics should be allowed to say it as part of a bit (Lenny Bruce, anyone?) and how funny it actually is shouldn't really determine how moral it is. But if it he really is just a racist ass, he should be treated like a racist ass.
