I'm off the the MJM in about an hour so not sure who has time to respond. However I intend to spend some loot on the tables today, should I go blackjack or craps?
Both have advantages;
Blackjack is quick and dirty
Craps is more methodical.
I want to double my cash (bringing 3k), how would you do it?
Play blackjack.
But get ahead, and get the hell out. Long term you will lose.
yeah Blackjack is the game, but when you win a hand and win big, lose the next hand and get out. That's the gentleman way, you don't want to win big leave and then get your ass kicked outside by the Casino secuirity. Win big, lose a hand, and then cash out. Go to another Casino ... rinse and repeat,
Learn how to play Hold 'Em. Better odds for you.
But since you're under the gun, can you count cards well enough? Blackjack. Otherwise, just play the pass/no pass line in craps all night. It's boring, but probably the safest money.

Hold 'Em is more mental than any sort of ability. Plus your playing other people. I'd rather take the casino's money. Its a lot more expensive to buy into a Hold 'Em game too.Quote:

Look for a hot craps table. If someone is throwing bullets, you can make some quick cash. I've always won a pretty good amount with craps. Either way, the odds are against you doubling your money, but good luck.
Theoretically Blackjack has the best odds in the casino.
I lost $85 playing blackjack last night. I swear to god every table was rigged. The dealers were murdering (practically) everyone.
Here's how it started for me (first 6 hands)
1) Blackjack! HOLLA
2) 20 hell yeah. What's this? A push.
3) 20 again! Dealer 21!
4) 20 AGAIN! PUSH.
5)18, doing good. Dealer 19
6)19, Come on you stupid fuck, bust. 20!
It was like that the entire night. The last table I was on, in the low chance the dealer showed anything below a 5, he would hit to 21 with 5 cards. It was ridiculous. He busted TWICE out of 14-15 hands. It was like fighting in the Vietcong or some shit. I went to 4 tables where the same scenarios kept happening so I said fuck it and took my remaining money.
Take that 3k and buy a PS3 lol
If I didn't win 3x in a row on 20, I'd sit out til a shuffle. That sucks. Every time I've played blackjack in the casino, I've come out on top. 4/4 or something of the like.Quote:

Actually, the best odds in the casino are free odds bets behind the passline in craps, it's truly 50/50
Why didn't you stop at 1k? Or at least set aside 500 and just play 500. Or is that not how it works :P
