Fuck the haters, I played the shit out of DKC, and DKC2. DKC3, meh.

For almost 20 years now I've been hearing about how Blades of Steel owns Ice Hockey; it's a myth. Blades of Steel had a cooler fighting system, but it wasn't a better game of hockey.

Myth my ass. Nintendo has never made a good sports game that didn't involve the Mario characters. Blades of Steel + Double Dribble = Konami win

You'll be even more disappointed when you find that the Aussie games are PAL versions and run at 50Hz with borders. I'm not joking.

Nintendo just couldn't possibly have been any lazier with the VC stuff so far. All of the releases are the original regional ones with the same flaws? Jesus. The emulators on my Xbox destroy the official VC stuff, and that's just pathetic. The VC stuff isn't cheap enough to be this half-assed.

At this point, I'm debating to skip grabbing VC titles (except for ones I don't already own/can't find) and just re-hookup the old game systems to my 27". I even started staking out the local Gamestops for what's good and cheap.
