Yeah, I can confirm this is truth. Which again, is fucking balls. I'm used to being a PAL gamer (and not even the 'big' PAL territory) and getting fucked over with releases / slower games, but this shit is completely unnecessary - I can play NTSC roms on every display in my house. Every display sold in AU for the last 8 years has been NTSC compliant. They should drop the PAL format altogether, but that's another thread (which no-one wants to read anyway, self-centered yank sons of bitches lol kk).

Untill they start (or ever) release some of the harder to find shit / shit that hasn't been played out like a whore, it's modded zboz ftw x 1000000.

Meanwhile, what's the expected release of Opera on this thing?

So I can confirm that you can change your country in your Wii settings to access other region's lists. I swapped it over to the UK and I now have TG16 games. Wii points carry over aswell. It seems you can only choose other PAL territories though. Better than nothing I guess.

I just had another look and we don't get Japan as an option either (nor can I get the US). I guess it's a PAL / NTSC thing. I can, however, pretend I live in a multitude of African countries.

Another thing that I've just realised about the VC - If it does remain totally PAL for PAL regions, I miss out on Chrono Trigger (assuming it gets a release). Boo.

They don't let you buy in exact increments so that you always have a small balance in your account, which motivates you to either purchase more points for a game you really want (and leave another balance), or for impulse buys. Evil, but effective.
