Wow, that sounds totally useless.

48 hours on a 9 volt battery, that's awful. I'd be interested in it if it was more power-efficient, used AA or AAA batteries, and extended the range of the Wiimote.

Is the sensor bar really that short that a wireless one is needed?

FYI, IGN seemed to love Elebits.

The wire is about 8 feet; some people do have home theater setups that it doesn't accomodate, but I think for most people this is a convenience issue. It's mildly annoying to have to plug in a third cable with a system that so frequently gets transported around.
