I'm just saying there are two parts to the problem.

Anybody that brings up a game not on the wii, a system that is not the wii, figures that have nothing to do with the Wii, or comes in here with launch games lol, and/or should be a gamecube game is going to get carded.

Anybody that responds to said posts will also be carded.

It doesn't happen in the 360 threads because no one is trolling it, and the PS3 sucks and everyone feels that way so theres no one to troll that thread. Can you honestly say that some of the shit Mr PS3 lover has been posting in every single god damn motherfucking Wii thread isn't trolling?

Having a well thought out opinion that happens to be negative is not trolling and is not off topic, especially in a console thread. You admit as much by saying that the PS3 thread isn't "trolled" because no one supports it. Having two sides on an issue represented does not equate to trolling. I have great interest in the Wii, but that doesn't mean there aren't glaring weaknesses. Hell, the 360 still has weaknesses, and they are brought forward in that thread. The most common one is the ridiculous one game per week XBLA release schedule.

I understand what you are saying, I just don't agree with it. As far as I'm concerned a game should be judged only by the experience you had with it. If it falls into said persons views of perfect then it gets a perfect score.

Since we are on the subject I just want to make clear that I think giving games number scores is worthless. The only thing it can do is get all the fanboys/anti-fanboys all fired up one way or the other. I would take a well written article by a decent reviewer without a score any day over a score with a paragraph of BS.

You surely are entitled to your opinion on what constitutes a perfect game. I just think that a game is an experience and if it gives you a perfect feeling playing it, then it deserves to be considered perfect as an opinion, which is all a review is.

No need to be so technical about it. After all, nothing will ever be perfect.

If a 10 is defined as "Perfect = No flaws and nothing better" there never has, and never will be, a game worthy of the score.

But we better drop this before Chux pisses himself. I'd be happy to discuss it in the "Official Review Criterea Thread" if you are so inclined. ;)

I never said having a different opinion that happens to be negative is trolling. Hell if you read this thread I've voiced my own negative opinion about the launch and other things. You and I both know that some of the things that a certain member has posted is nothing more than flame bait. You can not deny this Yoshi, you are too intelligent of a person to deny that. There's discussion, and then there's trolling. Hitting every Wii thread with "Wii Sucks LOL" is not presenting a negative opinion, it's trolling plain and simple. If some one went into every 360 related thread with "360 sucks LOL stop paying for online game omg the intranets is free!!! LAWL!" it would be considered trolling and not sharing a negative opinion, and it would annoy the fuck out of people.

That's cool. Like I said above, I don't think any commercial publications take that approach, though I wish they would.

Number scores are lame. GameGO may not have been perfect but that's one thing I think it had right.
