Wii weather takes too long to load and also my internet fucking sucks. Is it possible for your router to burn out? because mine is shit.
If it was something fully integrated with both a mini and full version then it would immediately become a cool app. By multiple versions what I mean is if this was on the 360 it would have a temperature and weather icon right there on the Live menu, something that can be brought up at a moment's notice at any point during any game. Then if you really want to see the week's forecast or check other areas you can move into the entire seperate program.Quote:

I hate the forecast channel. It's like the weatherman but with no one to blame if it's wrong.
You guys have spent an entire page arguing about the fucking weather.
It must be another ploy to piss SpoDaddy off.
The weather channel is far from perfect, but like others have said: it's free, shows promise for further developement and is a good way to quickly check the forecast -- if you live near a city.
I also look forward to having a really handy, easilly accessable tool to teach my daughter basic geography with the globe.
Seriously, some of you are just mindlessly bashing the forecast channel -- and anything else Wii-related -- with "OMG, it would be better on 360!"
For example:
Well then I have awesome news for you! That's almost exactly what the Wii forecast channel does. :bang:
The only difference is that you can only check it from the Wii menu, which is no big deal since I usually go back to it several times during a gaming session.
Just click on the forecast channel and you instantly get the "current" (more like semi-current) weather for your location. You can check it and be back to the Wii menu in less than 5 seconds. If you want more extensive information -- five-day forecast, weather around the globe etc. -- you have to then launch the full application.
So let's celebrate, by Mech's words the weather channel has "immediately become a cool app!"
It has balls and a huge dick indeed. ;)
If Mario Galaxy is out by March I will eat my hat!
