I was going to come in here and argue with you, but then I saw him post this at another message board I frequent:
It seems you're on to something.

nice. i still fail to see how they can justify that decision with the numbers showing otherwise. they might as well just go to win/loss decisions round by round with each judge instead of numbers.
On this we agree! heh.
Ok I admit I'm probably wrong about the Cro Cop/Gonzaga fight. It was kinda funny hearing Goldie and Joe say pretty much the exact same things you guys were saying about his cage training and such. At first I thought it was a grand conspiracy against me, but I soon realized I was just wrong.
With that said, I have to say I'm totally disppointed in Cro Cop's performance against Kongo. He looked afraid for his life (understandable I guess, Kongo is a fucking monster) but Cro Cop isn't supposed to be human, he's not supposed to have fucking feelings, especially fear. I feel cheated.
I think it's gonna be a long road back for Cro Cop in the UFC.
how much bigger is the cage as opposed to the ring? when i was watching the last fight i noticed it seemed like CroCop had to chase his opponent around the cage whereas he would literally take 3 steps in any direction in the ring and be right on top of the guy. he had this unrelenting Terminator like presence in Pride where it seems not so much in the octagon.
He sure had it when he whooped up on Eddie Sanchez. Who you fight makes the difference. He sure wasn't stalking Fedor when they fought in Pride.
