I had an epiphany a few days ago. I'd pay to watch a movie where Andre Arlovski takes over an island and builds a nuclear weapon with which he threatens the US and Evan Tanner has to infiltrate the island, save the natives, kill Andre's minions and the whole thing ends in a cage match to the death. I know they're different weight classes, but that'd be a cool movie. I'd play the game based on the movie too.
[non sequitur segue]
When does the next season of TUF start?
im not sure they set a date yet, just the coaches.
The rumor right now is that the owners of the UFC just bought Pride. It's believable because Pride was apparently owned by yakuza, and shit was starting to hit the fan. This could be huge, and if nothing else UFC will see an enormous talent influx.
Better than if WWE bought them.
i love double double e.
(anybody that watches Raw should get this)
Oh God, "Vladimir Kozlov - ;MMA' and 'Sambo' champion" - they'll get theirs with that bullshit though, as no one will buy his act either seriously or in jest. Here's some WWE-related UFC game news -
Quote:
--UFC signed a videogame deal with THQ, the same company that does WWE deals. This is something of a major political issue in some circles within WWE today.
WWE are such bitches.
Bitches? Just recently they started having security take any signs about VKM, TNA or heels pertaining to “faces in a negative way”.
Oh then they cancelled all ppv press conferences because the TNA chant at the last one was so loud.
WWE fears competition now more than ever before, and it's lead to that kind of paranoid activity from them, along with really crazy promos from Vince on live TV.
IFL news -
I now have a reason to watch MyNetwork TV.Quote:
--The IFL and Warner Home Video have reached an agreement in an announcement made yesterday, that Warner will handle the company's DVD sales. They will release a minimum of four DVDs per year including a year in review DVD, profile on top fighters DVD and a best knockouts DVD. The first release is scheduled during the third quarter.
--IFL has announced two television deals for 2007. It will be back on FSN for 22 one-hour late night shows beginning in the second quarter. It will also have a weekly two-hour show on MyNetworkTV (The Fox owned network that airs on many disenfranchised UPN stations) starting this summer and through the end of the year.
Here's a shot of the new WEC and GFC belt.
