End Game - Did anyone got this PS2 gun game yet?

Well, I was at my GameStop today, and they had a copy of End Game there for $55. I read some previews for the game, but yet to read any reviews. Did anyone here, got it, and wants to share some impressions on it? :)

I didn't personally buy it but a good friend of mine did. It is no where near worth it. It's a fine gun game on a technical standpoint. The guncon works great and all. But the graphics are just kind of there. You're enemies are not interesting at all. And it is obviously a time crisis rip off(everyone is a terrible shot except the red guys who pop up only for a short time to get you). The main character is stupid looking IMO. There is really bad CG cutscenes in between almost every gun battle and a loading screen after the CG(which doesn't look as good as the in game graphics). So I would rent it as it was a little bit of fun for awhile. But my friend had a sour taste in his mouth knowing that he essentially wasted $50

Hmm, There no chances of stores near me getting it for rent, since they never got TC2 or Vampire Night, so I guess I will wait for a good deal to pop up on Ebay. I dont want to pay $55 either, but I do want to try this game for myself.

The pics I saw didn't impress me much.

I am the friend that bought EndGame that Javon is talking about. Stay Away from that game. A complete waste of $50 pretty much, got $30 back when I sold it back to the Funcoland I got it from. The actual gun play is as basic as it gets. It plays exactly like TC2, in that you duck to reload and such. But the enemys are very bland. The graphics are ok, they start out pretty good but get worse as you go (literally). The CG is by far the worst you will ever see on the PS2, DC, Xbox, and N64 even. Its just ugly as all sin, and it pops up before and after every level, and there is just a ton of loading time. Don't buy until you rent it. And if you do decide to buy it, wait till its used and for like $10, it won't take to long for that to happan me thinks.

if i may ask...why did you sell it back? they have a 7 days return policy. or did it take more than that to realize it sucked?

So did it come with the Guncon in a boxset too?

I take my shooting games any way I can get em and yeah I'll pick it up when I get a chance.

Thank you for the impressions Clash. Too bad you were dissapointed by this game. I still will try to get it, if I see a good deal. As long as this game as good as Confidential Mission, I'll be happy.

Ouch. Looks like this game is crap afterall. Too bad, I really need a good lightgun game. Ah, House of the Dead 3...
