I was reading about Jose Padilla, the U.S. citizen who has been detained without charge or trial for the past 4 years, and came across the following photos. Suddenly it all made sense: George W. Bush is an agent of the interdimensional Combine overlords, and our government is slowly being overtaken by the freaking Overwatch:

This is crazy. So people know he is being held unlawfully, he even has an attorney...so, why is he still being detained? I'm assuming that is part of the Patriot Act?

If you have an hour to kill you should watch this video, alot of interesting info on the IRS, Federal Reserve, and a national ID card. Definately worth checking out.

So they have yet to present any credible tiny shred of evidence and at this point are basically just purely assuming that he was soliciting radioactive materials?

(and just a silly aside, but....pink slippers? :p why do they make all the detainees wear weird little slippers of some kind? )

Right, I realize he hasn't been charged or put on trial in any way. I was just wondering what sort of obviously (by this point) piece of faulty intelligence (if any) it originally was that they still use to justify holding him in a black hole forever.

What happened on 9/11 aside, the War on Terror is fucking us way more than the terrorists currently are.

Maybe the terrorists plan all along was to piss us off enough so our government would go into frothy rage and more or less do itself in? If so, that's well, working better than it should work. Oh well.

I always found it a little ironic that our solution to the WTC attack has taken more American lives than the attack itself. I guess the difference is that now a few hundred thousand Middle Easterners have died as well (*). Does that help to even the score?
