Taito's classic arcade game (which spawned Pocky and Rocky for SNES) is getting a high-res PS2 sequel. Apparently both PS2 analog sticks are used for the game. Also a new version of Chuka Taisen (Cloud Master) is to be revealed soon.

Looks great. I don't have an import PS2 so I hope by some fluke it comes here. That screen where she drops her clothes and is covering her goods is surprising to see in this usually G-rated series. ;)
It looks like a Saturn game... maybe. There's a reason 2D doesn't sell anymore, and it's because no one will spend the time/money to do it right.
Firefox seems to hate that page. Is there a video up for it, or a direct link to screenshots? I'm not seeing anything useful there.

Well, if there's anything the original game could have used to make it better, dual analog would be it.
Strange choice to make a sequel now. Here's hoping for the best, though I'm not holding my breath.
Okay, I've tried the site in three browsers, and in all three, the Flash portion is a tiny 320x240, making it near impossible to actually tell what is going on in any of the screenshots.
Is everybody seeing it this way, or is my Flash plug-in acting up?
It shows up that way for me in Firefox, but not in IE.
I gave up and used IE for the first time in just about forever. Bad use of the internet out of Japan, who'd have thought?
Aside from that, this looks good so far. I figure it's got a snowball's chance of hitting the US, but I'd snag it if it did.

Just a tip: Get the FF extension IE Tab. It's a godsend for when sites don't work in FireFox.
