Just the next installment, though. I fully expect there to be a PS3 DQX/DQXI coming along in all its console glory at some point, and am willing to bet it's being worked on right now.

On the other hand, it really doesn't look good for Sony at all on the face of it.

This sucks.

From now on most major japanese games will be on a handheld.

Unless Nintendo has its head even farther up its ass than I think they do, there will be a Wii tie-in here. Despite all of their claims to the contrary, the Wii third party support looks like a disaster from where I am sitting. In Japan at least, this would change all that.

Not sure where the info about this came from, but for those of you who want to know, the full name is Dragon Quest IX: Protectors of the Starry Sky.

Looks nice to me. I'm hyped, and looking forward to getting to see a Dragon Quest launch. :) I'll join in on the camping out fun I think.
