Was there any indication that you might be let go; perhaps a light workload, or alot of downtime?

Funny coincidence- my girlfriend was fired today as well. She's pretty upset about it (rightfully so).

The really asshole thing about it was that her office had their company dinner this past Tuesday, she got a bonus check and a nice card telling her what a good job she's been doing and how there were exciting things due to come in 2007.

Right in the holiday season as well. Cocksuckers.

This came totally out of nowhere. It wasn't too long ago that I received a surprise "thank you" bonus.

Apparently, things have been "slow" for about two months. In all honesty, I was only planning on being there another couple of months or so anyway, but this certainly doesn't help.

Actually, my gf is Jewish, and I believe today is the first day of Hanukkah (it officially starts at sundown, I think). Real swell, huh?

Well, that fucking sucks, Shinobi. I got an email from the company president's wife earlier today about how she needed to talk with me and got a little freaked out, it turns out they just wanted me to correct how I was filling out time sheets.
