One shot kill bite omggg
I will never beat that game. I think the highest stage I ever got to was 16.
Ninja Gaiden beat me at the same part it beat them - the end is just too much. It's the only game that ever made me throw my controller at the TV. Still one of the best game ever though. EV-VER.

Covers the SWORDQUEST games for the Atari 2600. I've heard of the games, but didn't know about the contest for real treasures.
Very interesting.
Those games are arguably the worst I've ever played. And I actually bought all of them (even the uber rare Water World) not because I enjoyed them at all, but just in the hopes that playing the next one would help me make sense of the previous.
That's pretty interesting.
Wikipedia says that the guy that won the talisman melted it down to pay for school, and the winner of the chalice keeps it in a safe deposit box.

Holy shit. I had one of those games as a kid, but only the cartridge. No fucking wonder it made no sense. I hope somebody can explain Solaris next.
That contest was badass, btw. Somehow the idea that 80 year old Tramiel is sitting in his retirement condo wearing that crown and brooding over the ashes of his ruined kingdom seems appropriate to me.
I think that was the first Angry Video Game Nerd video that I didn't find to be completely worthless.
