Novel concept, yet vauge. I'd like to see what else they
have in the next round. Bids start at $50, but they don't
say how many they have.
I'm tempted to bid $50 and see where
it goes, anyone with stories please post here.

Also, ROFL @ $20 for Andre Panza Kickboxing. TZD has been around forever, but that new site design is brutal.
TZD will have Andre Panza Kickboxing forever.
New site design? It has been that way for the last 4 or 5 years if I remember correctly.
TZD is an awesome store, but they have little in stock now of any real value, except for the little odds and ends like new controllers. But hey, how many stores can say they have brand new Turbo Expresses in stock?
Sure but the fact that the games are factory sealed ensure
that they pristine. If you sign up for their emails, Bonk
will let give you exclusive deals. They had a bunch of loose
Hu-Cards in a folder last time I recall.
I wonder where they sourced these new games though?
I agree that some of their prices just aren't worth it, but if I can grab Beyond Shadowgate for 50 bones, hells yeah!
The majority of the stuff that got from when retailers were returning/clearing out all the Turbo stuff after TTI went under. They've been selling it all off since then, which is why they have such little these days. Way back when, I got a brand new Duo, Gates/Bonk, Duo Tap, and Lords of Thunder from them all brand spankin new, and not too expensive.
The only new stuff they get in once in a while are the occasional independent release and sometimes some random Kisado converters.
Word. I'm still eager to play that one.
I bought my brand-spanking new Duo off of them for $200 back in 2000. I was so happy to get a minty system from them. I've bought many a game from TZD, and I'm eyeing Lords of Thunder right now.
Must....resist....urge... to use... credit card...
Me too, Melf.
Lords of Thunder is worth $29.99 new. So is Shape Shifter,
which is a gem of a game, great 2-D platformer that nobody
ever gave a fuck about.
The site has been revamped and reworked.
Meh, had a bad experience with them, I'll pass.
Really? What happened? While the prices are high I always
thought customer service was top notch.
With the VC, buying a Duo is less tempting. Especially now that most of the great games are harder to come by.
Gates and Lords of Thunder are fantastic games.
I seem to be in the minority which is why I think it was a mistake and not a bullshit scheme. I ordered Rondo of Blood from them, got the shipment (fucking sealed btw) opened the case and it had a broken disk, split right in half. At the time I was pretty hard on them.
If they put Lords of Thunder on the VC I might actually consider getting a Wii.
Liar.
yeah, even for the high prices turbo stuff tends to go for, those prices suck.
To aquire the cardboard boxes for Turbo Games without a
price sticker and not crushed can be nearly impossible. To
have new stock of Turbo games in 2007 is nice.
