Unless the creator of Katamari owns the sole rights to the franchise or something like that, there's nothing stopping Namco from continuing the series.
James' point is very valid, but I'd still like to see how the game would play out using the Wii or PS3 control scheme. Putting it on the 360 doesn't seem like it would change things up very much.
Katamari ruled hard. 2 was even better. If you play for score like you play a shmup for score, it has a looooot of replay value, and fun replay value beacuse let's fucking face it.
Rolling a ball around is fucking fun as hell. I'd say it's more fun than VO:OT.
Oh good, these will go nicely with that DS version that was rumored ages ago.
The series is adead and it should remain dead. Not every good game needs a million sequels and I'd rather have more games with the same design sense as Katamari than more Katamari games.
