I was in a Best Buy yesterday and they had a whole skid full of $600 model PS3s.

The store was packed and even though they had "PS3 in stock!" signs everywhere the only people who were even looking at them were the three employees guarding them.

I lol'ed.

i dont think people are saying there is no diference, they are saying that the hd dvd's dont bring enough to justify the cost vurses what they can get with current gen dvds. its nowere as dramatic as vhs to dvd.

I am just happy I was right about the X-Mas season. The price is too high for the mainstream and most of the mainstream are morons so what Sony did was confuse the shit out of them. All I fucking get now are 'I need those HDVI cables' ... or ... 'I need those HD cables.'

Now at Comcast we are running out of Component cable ... why? Everyone has a HDTV and think they are entitled to the complimentary/courtesy cables. Yeah come into a Comcast office and you can get component cables(1 set) for free. Thats my little XMas gift to the TNL'ers.
