Hi Finch.
So you knew the Wii sucked and yet still you couldn't resist?
Warcraft 3, the game Halo 2 stole the whole system from, down to online site stat tracking of every unimportant detail, arranged team matchmaking, and even skill ranks.
<3 Warcraft 3
I wouldn't have played Warcraft 3 for three years or given Halo 2 a solid month of trying to like it if it wasn't for their online setups. Gears is dying without it.At least you admit that it sucks.
Yoshi is an easily manipulated consumer whore.
There are games I want that are coming. I figured rather than risk not being able to find one in a month, I should just buy it when I had the chance. I actually did the same thing with the 360. I found it February and bought it in anticipation of the March/April releases of GRAW and Oblivion.
And this.
Yes it is.
Sorry, not talking about the rank-based matching (though that is cool if you like playing random goons), but rather the party system (unless Warcraft has that too). Being able to sit in a persistent lobby with your buddies while hopping between private and public games, changing game modes and settings, etc. is very nice for online gaming. Why every game doesn't copy the format is beyond me.
