Given that Kurt slipped due to that slight step around the ring, I am actually surprised he didn't get crippled. That kind of ring area design is when led to Rick Rude's career ending, as Sting did a plancha on him outside the ring, but due to the platform around the ring being slightly above the floor, Rude's head was pinned between Sting's entire body and the floor - breaking his back and ending his career.Quote:

The Angle/Lesnar match was SO disappointing. He put Brock in the ankle lock like 15 times, and Brock never even looked like it slightly bothered him, until he grapevined the leg that last time. Too many punches and kicks, and Brock seems to have lost some of his intensity.
Just the thing that pisses me off. The only reason that step remains there is to support their butt-buddies behind camera so they have a good angle to display for the media. Going along with what you said, I'll bet that have they ever thought of it as a major concern for anyone getting seriously hurt or injured.Quote:

In other news, it's so nice to have a WWE free of the McMahon ball swinging these days. RAW and Smackdown (not so much ECW :( ) were pretty good this past week, and they can all pretty much start with a clean slate now that the ghost of McMahon isn't haunting the show.
