iirc when they suspend guys now (in established storylines) they still have them work televised shows but they don't receive pay.

That's usually the case, but WWE is now going to be taking the policy seriously, so guys will be taken off the show (like Jeff Hardy was recently).

I guess it pays to be straightedge when your company is under drug scrutiny.

Punk and Micheals. Kinda similar.
Eugene got fired as well supposedly. thank god.
I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up in TNA as Special Ed in about 3 months.
WWE released Cryme Tyme too, but supposedly not due to drug issues.
The company has been rocked hard by this, and with the recent injuries depleting the roster, both shows are going to suck harder than usual. TNA is in an even worse position, as it has no drug policy at all.
The reason for the firing ...Quote:

Cryme Tyme came out and sold Trevor Murdoch's brand-new trucker hat for $20.
WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS LANCE CADE & TREVOR MURDOCH def. CRYME TYME by Count-Out. The referee didn't see JTG tag in Shad, and JGT was counted out. Cryme Tyme laid the ref out afterwards, then took his belt off and threw it into the crowd. Big pop.
that sounds like a storyline reason and not an actual reason to me. although other outlets are reporting that JTG made it back into the ring before the countout, so what happened after that could have been real.
on another note, Hardcore Holly might finally be done. he has no feeling in the arm that had surgery on it (bad news for the doctors).
Those doctors are heroes.
Seriously. Karma biting Holly in the ass is wonderful.
