I beat Enchanted Arms recently, and it's a lot better than most here (who probably never played it) made it out to be. I did dislike the fact that you could breeze through the game without using any golems, except for when the story took a character away, but had no choice but to grind some at the end. I had to spend around 6 hours just maxing out Atsuma, Raigar, Odin, and Phoenicia just to be able to beat the Ice Queen (who was far harder than the last boss).

Great game overall though.

The Ice Queen is easier than the last boss? No fucking way. You have to beat that asshole 5 or 6 times and have to have the forethought (which I didn't) to have maximum healing items going in. Now, I'll probably have to end up doing the whole Ice Queen scenario all over again.

I played the whole games without golems, too.

Edited - Finally beat this game. Melf, did you do the holy beast shrine quest? That dungeon alone is supposed to be 5-10 hours and the bosses are more difficult than Ice or Infinity.

Knocked out Marvel Ultimate Alliance and got beat all 20 challenges on Worms

TMNT- 360

One of the easiest games I have ever played and a super easy 1000 achievement points. The game wasn't awful, but it was far from great. The platforming was actually pretty fun though, but the fighting left much to be desired. I really feel sorry for anyone who payed full price for it however. A definite rent though.

Finished Blazing Angels for 360 with Ace ranking on all levels. I also beat the mini campaign mode, and I have only arcade to finish. :)

I said she was harder, for me at least. The whole regeneration and constantly summoning golems was a real bitch, especially when she'd steal a turn from you., and the last guy was basically "beat on him nonstop." I find Infinity to be much easier than the Ice Queen though, and it's true what you said about healing items. Since it's 7 battles in a row, if you're not fully stocked, you're fucked.

I was going to do it, but I decided to battle the IQ for shits and giggles, after level grinding for a few hours. Much to my amazement, I beat her and went on to finish the game. I didn't see much reason to do the shrine after that.

I just completed overseeding and fertilizing my lawn. I decided that I am going to be a total yard snob now that I own a house. :p

Good lord Yoshi, when they say seed your lawn you don't use your seed! Impressive work though.

Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

I've recently gotten into Lovecraft, so I had no choice but to track this game down. It captured the feel of Lovecraft pretty well. Innsmouth was perfect, as well as a bunch of other little touches (I loved the captain killing himself after the deep ones attacked. He read from the bible, then shot himself. He couldn't handle the truth, that shit is so lovecraft).

I loved the begining of the game, running around innsmouth without a weapon investigating, talking to people, I wish the game had more of this. The escape from the inn had my heart pumping, this captured the feel of the story PERFECTLY, but man I really hated all the fucking crawling you do for the rest of the game. I liked sneaking around at times, but there was a bit too much of it.

I will say this though, in the begining I really felt alone and helpless sneaking around the town, which again is just as lovecraft would have wanted it.

My favorite levels were the escape from the inn, and the navy boat, that whole level was great. The worst levels were the fishing cannery and the refinery.

The mythos creatures were handled well, the flying polyp was probably the coolest. I didn't really like Hydra. That entire boss battle was anticlimatic, as was the ending. I understand it in the context of the mythos, but it left me wanting more, and not in a good way. Yeah, there are no happy endings in lovecraft, but I still wanted more. Too bad we'll probably never get a sequel, I really wanted to see Cthulu rise.

It took me 11 hours to finish and I got a super shitty mythos rating because I used a million saves, plus I didn't get %100 because I didn't get the rifle in the refinery.
