Ravage was 'ok' before he turned into a monster.
Ghost Rider 2099 was pretty bad-ass. I really liked the design of him.

Ravage was the only 2099 book I never bought.
Fuck Stan Lee.
being a huge ellis fan, that previous post was dripping with sarcasm
I stopped reading comics for a few years right around the mid-point of the 2099 stuff, so I missed out the majority of the books at the time. I think the chromed-out Ghost Rider 2099 was one of the last comics I bought during this period, actually. Started back up again in 2001!
I thought the highlights were Spiderman 2099, Ellis' Doom, and Fantastic Four, which like X Nation didn't last long enough. The rest were tolerable to unreadable. Never cared for Ravage, most of the Punisher, Gerard Jones Hulk, and Ron Lim on X-Men.
Ghost Rider was a neat concept with nice Bachalo art and so so Len Kaminski writing.
X-Men 2099 was a really ugly comic full of unappealing designs and ideas. Tom Defalco was the worst EIC at Marvel ever.
I can't argue that. Bob Harras close second.
shooter was the best
Didn't Shooter start "Marvel Graphic Novels"? If so, I agree. (no no that was Goodwin)
However, Frank Miller Daredevil, Claremont/Byrne X-Men, best Thor stuff... yeah....
WAIT HOLD ON.
They're bringing back 2099? I used to love those books as a kid!
didn't kirkman write some 2099 stuff a few years ago? Remember seing the solicits, but never picked them up.
They were trying to relaunch the line with different characters. Didn't take.
