I don't even mind Greg Land. Dude makes some pretty pictures, even though I want to send him a thesaurus full of facial expressions for Christmas.
His Ult. Fantastic Four run was the best thing ever. I don't want anyone else drawing Marvel Zombies.

Anybody pick up any books this week?
Might get the Anna Mercury TPB, that's about it. Maybe Fables.
I got the Battle for the Cowl book, and the first Y the Last Man trade, since everybody says it's good.
I prefer DMZ personally, but Y is a good read.
I'm losing interest in DMZ, but hopefully it'll be like Y and pick up steam again. I thought Y lost if for a good chunk of the mid run.
I'm catching up on last month's books. So far I've gone through Marvel's Dark Reign books (Avengers, Deadpool, Thunderbolts), IDW's Transformers books (All Hail Megatron and Dinobots) and Ultimate Marvel (FF60, WH3, and the very good Spider-Man).
I really hope he's not getting rid of Peter Parker. I dumped the 616 Spidey after JMS left.
I went to the LCS last night but it turns out they closed at 7. I hope that place burns.

Baked you a cake.
That's my LCS! (The Beaverton, OR location) They recently came into a beat-up collection of 70s comics and they are letting them go for $1 each. Howard the Duck #5 was in there.
Anyway, the N&D stuff has a fairly good range. Some of it's really shitty looking, but mostly it's like the site says. Looks like someone read the book a few times.
