Probably on account of him being a professional about his work.
Hey, so I started reading Exiles (From the beginning). It's a fun little diversion.
I wanna read that, mostly because Spidey 2099 is in it. I like that character.
The "Tom DeFalco-ness" of the series keeps me away, though.
Lol. The "World Tour" storyline was what got me interested in Exiles (I'm a sucker for dead universes), and when Spidey 2099 showed up I came. I eventually picked up the earlier issues, good stuff. I stuck around when Claremont took over and the book rebooted. Big mistake.
I'd definitely recommend the series. I'd also recommend that when you get to the issues where Bedard left the book, so should you.
A-Next and Spider-Girl! For the Youth!
I had the whole first series of Exiles (100 issues) and sold it on eBay for $75. Shoulda left when Bedard left.
Anyone interested in this new series X-Men Forever? Claremont pretends nothing happened after he left the series with Jim Lee's X-Men #3. Does it make anyone else feel old that something from 1991 is considered nostalgic?
