They hanged a man, how the fuck do you make that a dignified thing? I'm surprised it was as civil as it was, I expected some more shit to go down. You can clear out the crowd and try to avoid all video footage, but you're still dropping a guy and snapping his neck/whathaveyou.

Remember, Bush was the man who was quite proud of the fact that Texas executed more prisoners than any other state when he was govenor. Quite Christian of him...
