Also, I find myself flipping on my lights in the middle of the day without even thinking about it-it's actually caused me to leave them on a couple of times. But bitching about having to have your lights on in the rain is pretty silly, visibility does go down when it rains because usually rain is accompanied by steam (if the road is warm), fog, and the concept of water falling through the sky is going to distort visibility, it's a good idea. Besides it's not as intrusive as helmet or seatbelt laws, so fuck it.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. If you drank enough alcohol to become drunk but haven't yet, you shouldn't be driving. What the hell is wrong with people?

Also, I've never owned a car that didn't go lights out when the key came out of the ignition--so I always have my lights on, don't even think about it.

That's the way it is here. Zero Tolerance. You have one sip of beer and you're over the legal limit. It's frustrating as hell.

There's nothing wrong with the law the thread is about. People should have their headlights on at all times. This is just as retarded as people complaining about speed limits.

I have running lights as well.
