Yeah, same for me. RPG's / Strategy RPG's are my favorite genre, but there's no chance in hell that I can burn through one. Oblivion was an exception because of how non-linear it was. You can pick it up for a few hours here and there and not be totally lost because you can't remember where you saw that character or where the mystical jaded urn is.
I play games sporadically, which also makes it harder to end them. I'm still playing FFXII, I have Twilight Princess, Max Payne 2, Up Your Arsenal, and a few other games still in shrinkwrap. I'll get to them within the next two years, unless I go overseas. If that happens it's just money wasted.
I play games when nothing is on or when I am about to go to bed. Sometimes those are the times when you realize how to get past that really tough level.
But I have to say ... Aren STFU.
I have a pretty easy classes with a pretty light schedule this semester, and I also stay up a bit later than most friends. Makes for plenty of time.
I hardly play now. I've noticed I buy games and never touched them and play once for an hour and never again. It's a waste of money I could use that money and time on a hooker.
The guy has a point. With a gf and working out, I only get maybe an hour or two on weekends to play now. At this rate it'll take me a another 6 months to beat Zelda TP and I'll only need to buy one game a year after I'm married.
Anyone who gives up gaming time to spend more time with a woman is a fucking moron.
