Woman dead from drinking too much water

Jennifer Strange had entered a contest at Sacramento radio station KDND 107.9 "The End" called "Hold Your Wee For A Wii". The last person to take a whizz would be the winner of the contest and win a Nintendo Wii. Beginning at 6:15 AM, contestants drank 8 ounces of water for every 15 minutes. After a certain time, the contestants would down larger amounts of water.

She started suffering some hellacious headaches which had her in tears and drove her to call her boss at Radiological Associates of Sacramento. Due to hyperhydration, her body electrolytes were overdiluted (hyponatremia, etc), and this proved fatal.

Condolences to her family. :(

This is fucking terrible.

Did they at least get a Wii?

Nintendo is so good people will die for them.

I'd die for a 360, probably not for a Wii. I don't want shitty graphics in the afterlife.

Good lord, the station is even called The End.
