I assume the "Rednecks" company was just fishing for the IP license and trying to sign up talent ahead of having the rights to the movie.

According to these ecto web dudes the pc version has no online play or dlc support and also has online authentication drm. I don't care about DLC and from what I read the online play isn't much but thats still pretty lazy. Don't know about the pc versions performance either since there has been no real previews of that version.
