Haven't had time or the proper hardware to play some of the
following games in my collection. Here's the list:
Rolo to the Rescue - Genesis
Athena - NES
Mystaria - Realms of Lore - Saturn
Blowout - PS2
Golden Axe 2 - Genesis
Syd of Valis - Genesis
Dick Tracy - Sega Master System
Omega Boost - PSX

Omega Boost is a gem. Great great game that never got the press it deserved.
I loved the Dick Tracy NES game, I think the SMS version is the same.
Yeah, Omega Boost is pretty neat, and it holds up well even now.
Mystaria - pretty good strategy rpg that I don't think has held up very well in the years since. The frame rate is all over the place in it IIRC. But even still, I love it. You ever want to get rid of it, I'll gladly take it off ya.
Athena is not very good. And it definitely has not aged well at all.

This is a quality cutesy Amiga-style platformer. I recommend it. The graphics and animation are excellent by Genesis standards.
Athena - NES
Mediocre game. If you're really interested, the arcade version on MAME is better. I would recommend the other Athena arcade game(Psycho Soldier) over it though. That has aged much better.
Mystaria - Realms of Lore - Saturn
I remember it being a pretty good strategy game with ugly graphics.
Golden Axe 2 - Genesis
It lacks some of the charm of the original, and the gameplay isn't as refined but it's a good beat 'em up. The magic system is improved as it lets you choose how much you use at a time.
Syd of Valis - Genesis
It's an uglier, clunkier Valis. I'm a fan of the series but I don't think this game's that great.
Dick Tracy - Sega Master System
It's not the same as the NES game. It's more similar to the Genesis one except worse. Avoid.
Omega Boost - PSX
Great shooter. Very smooth playing, and the graphics still look good through a PS2. I never beat it though as my copy is defective.
Atena is, easily, one of the hardest games in existance. Just so you know.

I concur with everything NeoZ said, especially with Rolo.
I picked it up on a whim thinking my daughter would like it; however, I really dug it and played it more than she ever did.
Holy shit, Omega Boost looks awesome. How have I not heard of this game?
omega boost was a lot of fun, and i remember really likeing the metal'ish soundtrack
athena sucked, rented it and found it fully unplayable.
mysteria i enjoyed, the graphics will look downright primitive now, but i liked the characters.
Omega Boost is really, really good.
I think it might be 60fps, but it's been awhile.
Golden Axe 2 kinda blows. I like Revenge of Death Adder, though
Okay, ordered Omega Boost off of Half.com for 2 bucks. For two bucks, it had better be GREAT!
Its certainly average.
I loved the game, but the save system blows. You had to finish the level, in order to save your progress. Some levels lasted over an hour and if you died, you had to start from the beginning.Quote:
