I don't really assume that everything we see in an episode is happening at the same exact time, especially in plotlines that are isolated from each other.
The sword that Ned leaned on the bed was Dawn (Arthur Dayne's family sword). I wonder why attention was drawn to that?
I am not too upset about people teleporting all over the place. I just assume the episode takes place over the course of several months to move the plot along.
