I can understand - Bran's powers are cool and his story is kind of interesting. I didn't really care and mostly glossed over his chapters. Did I miss the scene you referred to in ASOS? I remember him telling Sam to find Bran and bring him to the Wall but I don't recall a meeting. (It's been a long time, I only read the books once, and, of course, "Only Cat," happens in that book so I was too busy reveling about that. Heh.)

Hmm. I did marathon through the episodes and I was looking mainly for Mockingbird and Lady Stoneheart stuff. Speaking of which, after a two week wait, and considering the Brienne/Hound story mixing, what do you think about that being part of the last 3 episodes? We haven't seen Beric in a good bit...

I haven't read them in a long time as well. I remember Bran's last chapter in book three with him going under the wall with the Reed's and running into Deadhands sitting on an elk. End of Bran chapters until book five. I could be wrong. In book five: Bran's crew spends his time travelling north with Deadhands in the lead, so they can "veg out" in a cave.

Beric is dead by this point. I'm assuming Lady Stoneheart will be the final shot to close out seasons four, maybe even a post credits thing, since it's the epilogue of book three.

Steph asked to start watching this, which is fine because I haven't been keeping up and have forgot most of this shit. So that's fun, she's usually not into the swords and dingy shit.

We're on episode 4 but after each one she's like "Hey we can just watch the first 5 minutes of the next one, right?"

Haha this show. 55 minutes of a decent show and 5 minutes of holy shit.

I totally remembered the manner in which that fight ended from the book, had to go find it online and re-read. I didn't recall it being that out of control but it was. I just recalled going, "That shit isn't fair. He won that fight, damn it." The show made it a little more... concrete.

Anyway, the good thing is that the only piece left is finding out that Tywin Lannister doesn't shit gold, after all.
