Mission of Burma - Signals, Calls and Marches
This was completely remastered specifically for this vinyl release from the original 1/2" two track tape directly to a vinyl lathe. The audio quality is SICK.
I really wanted those reissues when they cam out, but I didn't have the scratch. Don't they come with a dvd with some live stuff?
Lately I've been listening to Electric Wizard, Albert Ayler, Son House, and Helms Alee.
Yeah. The DVD has a concert from 1981 or somewhere around there. I haven't watched it yet.
You should buy them. I'm gonna get VS next week.
The Cranberries! Right on.
Giving another shot to Beastie Boys: The Mix Up. I like this a LOT more after giving it a rest for a couple months.
Been listening to the new Mastodon: Crack The Skye, I'm very much in love with it right now. Find the freaking album, the quality is unreal. This is the first song off the album.
I'm digging Crack The Skye too, it's the first Mastodon album I've listened to. Sick car album.
I've been listening to Tool for the past 2 days or so. They have some great tracks, but I hate when they put nonsense on an album (goes for any band). It's not music, just noise that annoys the shit out of me. (-) Ions, Useful Idiot, Faaip de Oiad and Cesaro Summability = waste of human time and effort.
I agree with both parts of that. And while I sometimes listen to those parts while going through the cd (sometimes they do feel like a nice segue between songs), overall I would rather it was 13-14 tracks of actual songs, cuz you know they wrote shit that didn't end up on the album.
Although to their credit, I can't name a song on any Tool cd that has ever been below awesome, they really do choose their best shit to publish.
