I don't know that I'd call Gang of Four inaccessible; they're pretty listenable, catchy, almost like a proto-RHCP at moments. But they're one of those groups that just didn't really fit into the scene or culture at the time. This is less of a problem when listening in retrospect.

I was bummed to read earlier that she left the band. Witch Mountain opened a couple shows my wife and I were lucky enough to see and we chatted with her about music after their set. Very cool chick.
I am desperately in need of new pop-punk/power-pop bands to listen to. My songwriting is stagnating due to a lack of bands that I want to do better than. Last band that made me fired up about music was the thermals, and that was 6 years ago.
