This is the song (music starts at 2:05ish) that finally got me started on the Melvins:



It took decades. It was particularly annoying for awhile there because so many people would hit me with that lousy fanboy incredulity. "WHAT. You like the 'heavy stuff' so you HAVE TO like the Melvins!". Well no I don't. The way this tune wormed its way in was perfect. I was riding in a car, the song was awesome and I had to ask and it was the Melvins. Now I think my favorite album is Bullhead. They are filthy live. Just crazy good.

People still do that shit to me about Kyuss. Yuck.

I have it so bad for the singer.
