It's not prerendered, but yeah, the clock is ticking on those graphics being presentable. Modified Unreal 2 engine, lol.

3DRealms has cleverly exploited a curious phenomenon. If you take long enough to make a sequel, apparently everyone will be happy about all the same old power ups and enemies in it.
