With most big name titles, the longer the delay the bigger the anticipation. This usually leads to enormous hype, and sometimes followed by tremendous disappointment. I think Duke Nukem Forever has transcended that pattern. It has been delayed for so long that whether good or bad, people will welcome it with open arms (and hearts) just because they want it to come the fuck out already.
