We're not you. And thank God for that, because then I'd have spent $600 on a PS3.

You can upgrade the PS3 hard drive to 750gigs, so that point is moot. Still, everyone knows that the 360 core is a retarded purchase, because you still need to purchase a memory card, just to save your games. Its not a wise purchase decision, no matter how you spin it.

Now do shut the fuck up, because I am willing to wager that you own each of those, give or take the HD-DVD drive.
The PSP rocks, and if it had more efforts like Tekken: DR and Maverick Hunter X I swear I could get through life with it as my only console.
The PS2 is totally underwhelming hardware that just happens to have arguably the best library ever. Last gen would have rocked the house if all those games went to the Xbox or some fantasy version of the Gamecube that didn't have the worst first party controller since the 3D0.
The PS3 should have demolished all comers, but Sony spent an entire year blasting the foundations of their empire with dynamite on a daily basis. It was quite impressive really, the concerted and sustained efforts from multiple sources within the company to erode all corporate and public goodwill they might have accrued over the previous two decades. Not to mention the spectacular cavalcade of blunders that rendered their hardware completely uncompetitive.
Really, they come across like a bunch of knobs and really aren't worthy of much more than your disdain as human beings; nobody should have to apologize for hating them at this point, they should be apologizing to all of us.
In 6 years the PS3 might look freaking slick; I think this gen is going to be a long one, and blu ray will pay off if DLC services don't take off in the next half decade. In the short term there's no reason to own it; its only big exclusive is a shooter that's not as good as Gears and almost every big title they have announced has a 360 rumour attached to it.
At the same time, it has a bunch of the same games 360 has and a few things all its own (waiting half a year for VF5 is going to suck); I can understand why those who own it will defend it, i'm sure the overall experience is just fine.
Waiting for VF5 is going to REALLY suck. If the 360 announcement wasn't made this past month, I would probably be a PS3 owner right now. Hopefully Sega or Microsoft or somebody brings out a decent controller to play it with because the 360 controller is going to hurt this game.
The PSP definitely kicks ass. Thank you, third parties who didn't really see sales to reward their efforts, for giving the PSP such a great 2006.

Outside of the insane cost of the PS3 I have no problems with Sony today but then I don't listen to what corporate people have to say so that might be it.
edit: and the controller of course urk, they better release Jeanne D'Arc over here as well.
