I actually liked the Save The Earth game just for the multiplayer. Destroy All Monsters with just single player did get dull after a while though.

I don't see how anyone who likes Goji could say that the GameCube games sucked. They weren't GotY material or anything, but they were perfectly solid party-style fighters where you got to wreck cities with kaiju. What more are you hoping for out of a Godzilla game, exactly?

They kind of are, yeah. I figure the key here would be making a new Giant Monster game using a modern wrestling game engine-- just swap out the naked dudes for giant monsters, give some stuff to stomp around on, buildings to throw, breath attacks, and call it a day. Granted, I didn't spend much time with the 'Cube Godzilla games.

Example, War of the Monsters had completely the wrong idea, IMO. Twisted Metal engine? Lock on projectile shit? Combo nonesense? Everything looking extremely tiny? No.

Looks like the developers have come up with some original kaiju designs, and they're having a poll on IGN to determine which one they use.

I voted for Firelion. The others don't fit the Godzilla universe IMO

Rodan, godzilla and king Ghidorah, the rest suck. I mean monsters like King Caesar and jet jaguar are more the norm in temrs of design. But enough arguing, godzilla is too shitty to bother arguing about.

Agreed. Me and my friends still pull out my copy of Godzilla DAMM now and then. It has solid control, great sense of destruction and is the best playing Godzilla game since the TurboDuo fighter. Hoping that Wii Goji will have online vs.
