Micheal Pachter says game prices are too low, we're getting a gift at 60 bucks

I think some games can be worth that much. Oblivion is a long ass game, I see no problem charging 60 bucks for it. Then you have other games that are shitty ports of an Xbox game that just runs in a higher resolution and they charge 10 bucks more for it, fuck that. (Gun, lego Star Wars)
They also talk about the fact that games sell less at higher price tags means developers take fewer and fewer risks, I personally don't see that as a good thing. I'd like to see some more risk taking in the industry, I think if we start getting nothing but sequels, the game industry could end up in a slump similar to the one for the movie industry.
