Anybody else besides me read that summer '95 Next Gen (the very 1st issue I believe, the one with Wipeout on the cover) interview with Sam Tramiel where he totally trash talked the PSX like a white grandma saying (apparently with a straight face) that they would sue Sony over the PSX vs. Jaguar because the way Sony was introducing the PSX in the U.S. with its price in comparison to the Jag "...that is price dumping, it's illegal and we won't stand for it." --not a verbatim quote but 99% close-- What a moron. Still remember way back every so often to that day 7 years ago when I read that. :lol: Those FMV quotes are really sad.
I had that issue too, but I believe it was actually their seventh issue (their first issue had a Virtua Fighter cover). Sam Tramiel was a very sore loser. Rather than trying to produce quality games for his system, he went around suing anyone. If it wasn't for him and his father's incompetempt marketing decisions, Atari might had still be around today.Quote:
