It's a little of both.

Are the mainstream gamers going to care about achievement/reward scoreboards? Probably not, but the hardcore gaming community will.

The first thing that came to mind, when I'd unlocked rewards playing Uncharted, was that this had to do with Home. Home is a nice step forward, to challenging the 360's achievement setup, but I'm hoping it's more than just having a pad where your friends can check out your accomplishments. I'm hoping that Home isn't the only source for showing off your accomplishments, when the same option could be as easy as clicking on your friends list to see how much they've done.

Its a hub to launch to online games with friends easy, whats been missing from Ps3 among other things, and yes showing off home trophies. They also showed off the beta Home web site at last years E3, i imagine its going to take some hints from xbox.com and its integration. Theyve already said youre also going to have a gamercard, and more things besides JUST a gamerscore.

Hell PSP games are even using PSN log-ins (see wipeout pulse)

I ended up buying this during the $40 Amazon sale and I'm so fucking glad I did.

The fact that there is zero loading makes me forget how long I've been playing the game, because it's literally non stop. I've been playing it since 1 today, and if I wasn't going out I would most likely finish it since I'm pretty sure I'm near the end. The graphics are fucking gorgeous, minus a little pop in and some shimmering textures, this is easily the best looking PS3 game (until MGS4).

Then there's the gameplay, everything just comes together so well, and every piece of the game just fits and works really well. The aiming is pretty shitty, but I got used to it, and the cover system works much better than I had previously thought. The "platforming" (if you could call it that) is a lot of fun, and makes Tomb Raider look lame in comparison. The action is fast paced, the enemies while not smart, are smart enough to cause some problems, and the environments are set up so well that fighting groups of enemies is just a blast.

My one major complaint would be the last third of the game, but this one really awesome platforming part right before the part I didn't like more than made up for it.

B-Ri, you were right about this game, it rules. If you can find it for $40 it's well worth your

I bought this game when I re-bought my ps3, played it for about 2 hours and had fun, and have never gone back. It is one of two ps3 games I still own (Oblivion GoTY is the other), and I was about to ask wheater or not it was worth playing through, but apparently my question was just answered.
I do have to say that as fun as it was and as good as it looks, I was kinda bored by the time I got to the ship that was stranded on the waterfall/might not be that but you know what I'm talking about.

Since before the last tomb before you find El Dorado's treasure you have to move that huge thing in the church to get down there. Yet when you get down there, there's like 30 dudes just chilling near the treasure.

i forgot where, but its explained/nodded to, they are literally loading any place they deem a clue and dynamite into it. Either way, suspend the disbelief my friend, look how the game ended :p

for those who were waiting on trophies to replay this game, the patch for the US is officially up.

Nice, I'll probably start over from the beginning with it.
