Dude, stop acting like any person here has said they should have answered every question in one episode. No one ever said that or even implied it. I know it makes it easier to pretend you have a point if you over inflate ours to the point of stupid, but let's save that kind of garbage for the political threads.

There have been PLENTY of moments this season where absolutely nothing was going on but the same old Lost "Killing time wandering around getting from point A to point B" bullshit where SOMETHING could have been explained. Hell, a lot of the time that wandering was with the smoke monster of all people - the person who knows more than any other (alive) about what the fuck is going on and no one has even bothered asking him shit unless it relates to something new that has only been introduced this season.

Let's make it simple: You hated on people for hating the Kate ep, but of the Sawyer episode you said it was not only bad but "Almost as bad as the Kate episode." If that's any indication, you don't know what the fuck you think.

Great that you visited your heroes and got a new taste of religion but, seriously, thus far? The season has sucked. Next episode might actually change that for one hour so if seeing people say bad things about the series gets you THAT upset, then just shut the fuck up until it airs.

Eh, I'm tired of arguing over this shit. You want answers, I get it. You want to know wtf is going on and you're - whether you'll admit it or not - worried that they're running out of time and won't tie everything up. I'm confident all the important answers will get answers; the questions that are important to the characters involved on the show at this current point in their live - something along these lines was actually said by the creators. I don't think Jack and company really give a flying fuck who Adam and Eve were from the cave, although I'm sure we'll find that out. It'll probably be Rose and Bernard or something.

Only when the season ends is when we should talk about whether everything they wrapped up to our satisfaction. Talking about it on a week by week basis is getting annoying.

FINALLY AN ACTUAL REAL ANSWER!

This episode is what every episode this season should have been. It was great.

Huge confirmation that the flash sideways is fucking gay. Now that's what I call an answer.

I think I know how they can end this thing for real:

They've confirmed that the numbers are variables to some equation that predicts the end of mankind. I think they said that in some extra non-show bullshit, but they did say that.

They've also said that the Dahrma Initiative was trying to change one of those numbers to change the equation and hold off the end of mankind.

Now we know that the numbers represent people to replace Jacob.

So by the end of the season every single candidate has to be killed or corrupted. Then somebody else who was never on the list replaces Jacob. That is effectively a new number that changes the equation.

Rose is the winning candidate. You just don't cross her, ever, or she will wise-old-black-woman your sorry ass.

Was anyone else impressed by how much of a tool Jacob is? I mean we got a hint of it with his "What about you?" at the end of last season but sitting there on the beach making his whiny argument that people don't need to know what the fuck is going on really drove the point home. Most of the choices we've seen these people go through have been morally ambiguous at best (with obvious exceptions like Ben who just did unarguably bad shit for personal gain) and of the two guiding forces they have to look to, one is probably a liar and the other is intentionally confusing.

He makes Old Testament God look downright fatherly by comparison.

Exactly. This is what we're talking about Aren. Not a lot was answered in this one, but at least some things were. This really is what every episode should have been like.
