Lost

Well, they STILL walked between places, for at least 10 minutes. Though I do agree that there were more dying and less walking tonight.

And speaking of Richard and his sidekicks.. Did they got fucking LOST in the bushes or something. We haven't seen them in 2 episodes now.

I think the point of this season is to make us hate the universe we've been watching for six years so much that we are actually ok with the finale making the alternate universe the one everyone ends up in.

It really feels like this season is a stand-alone TV show that just happens to use the characters from Lost. Nothing of any significance from the other seasons carried over. The story hinges on plot points that were made this season. It is building to a climax based on conflicts and mysteries that didn't exist before. Everything else has just been dumped.

Yup, I figured that as soon as they showed MiB and Jacob during last season's finale. There wasn't ONE fucking thing in the entire 5 seasons leading up to that point that had a damn thing to do with that finale. It's just their way of making everything that came before it not matter at all. What a fucking waste!

But there was no mention of another candidate?

Yep.

I'm sticking with my bet- Vincent is the final candidate. It makes as much sense as anything else.

The writers of this show are high school level hacks, it's amazing.

If it wasn't for the fact that the series was ending in three weeks, I'd have dropped this show like the turd it now is and moved on (like I did with House a few years ago).

Excellent posts above, like dave's assessment of this season and Cheebs' point about this season being a tangent from everything that came before rather than a continuation/progression. Because that's what happens when you have people in charge making stupid shit up as they go from the very start, all amidst writers coming and going.

Looking forward to a once good show (Season 2 and 3 were a LONG time ago) being thankfully put out of its misery in three weeks.

Such a mess.

- How the hell did Flocke build a bomb with a wristwatch and c4?
- Why did the timer triple in speed when Sawyer pulled the wires?

Read these on another forum:

- How does Sayid shutting down a nearby generator effect the sonar fences that have no wires running between them and are clearly battery powered?
- Why did they have to storm the sub and risk getting shot to death, when they had a good old fashioned smoke monster with them?
- Why didn't flocke let all of them board the plane and get blown up then, instead of boarding a sub?

Jin and/or Sun were candidates too, how'd they die? Unless only Sun was the candidate because Jin wanted to die, but even then I thought the candidates couldn't die?.. none of this bullshit makes sense.

I hope they can somehow salvage the show with the few episodes left, but things aren't looking too good.

Lost ends with Juliet setting off Jughead and everything else is Jacob's Ladder.

At this point I'd honestly be happy if this last season was just one of the character's pre-death fever dreams. Six years of "planning" is going down worse than Whedon's "Oh Snap, We're Canceled!" rush endings.

They have a pilot on their team but the sub pilot is on the other team. I figured it was a convoluted way to strand or make sure Widmores people couldn't leave.

If you notice, the guy at the plane that got shot did in fact have blood coming out of him. Now that I think about it, it was noticeable when Sawyer said "his neck was broke," but he was the guy that got shot. Hmmmm.

I don't remember them saying there's "one more." The title for this episode is simply in reference to Jack finally being "revealed" as "the one." Which is ham fisted anyway since he's spent the last 3 episodes saying he's not leaving the island so we knew it anyway.


The thing that gets me is that they keep shooting at Flocke. Don't they get it?
