Cloverfield worked because we had a perspective from which everything we saw fit and made sense. The first 1 or 2 seasons of Lost also had a perspective, as one of the survivors. Now they give us bits and peices from all over that don't fit together, and we are less informed than even the characters we are watching. This annoys me incredibly. At least stuff is happening now, but the writing is still poor imo.

Ok, I'll go back to holding in my Lost complaints again. I made it pretty long I thought. It's like smoking. After a couple weeks I can't help it. I had to go for the keyboard and start bitching to release my pent up anxiety.
