Episode wanted to deliver very badly, but ABC wanted to drag it on. 2 Weeks? Fuck you, ABC, fuck you.
It was decent transitional episode. Nothing groundbreaking but more of tying of lose ends.

edit: Despair, I don't think the other 2 people they mentioned have anything to do with the body at the end of season 3. Remember, it seemed as though Jack was completely surprised by whatever he read in the paper.
It still looks like they're setting it up to be Michael. He got off the island without anyone knowing he was from the Oceanic crash so a notice about his death could definitely have been buried in the obituary section of a paper, rather than the front page.
