Games like this, where TNL has to suffer through bullshit "games" such as this to be "part of the Hardcore group" are the reason I don't ever take the advice of Compass, Grave, or Mechdeus :P
So you listened to my advice and didn't buy the game. Good to hear.
Yes, on this rare occasion you kicked ass, but you still owe me 100 dollars for final fantasy games purchased since 2005.
I accept paypal, checks, and goats.
Why did you spend $100 on FFXII? It retailed for only $50. Also, if you hated that game there's something wrong with you, not me.
Well there is no disputing there is something wrong with me. However, yes, I didn't like it at all.
What are you even buying?
The only in-game items which are of any sort of necessity are extra bags and the 30% Attack-Up thing... and I guess the phozon-up thing in the beginning. There's no reason to buy anything else.
For the cafe I couldn't find a better bang for the buck than the apple souffle thing (apple + yogurt + $5), so I could see running out of $5 coins but that's about it. For each character I have a few hundred dollars just sitting there with nothing really worthwhile to spend it on.
Just to comment on other things said in the other thread and not here:
· If you're not playing Mercedes and you're getting pow-gauge stunned, you're doing it wrong.
· There's no reason to use heal items until boss battles, unless you're cycling through inventory. As long as you survive a map with 1HP, you'll automatically heal up to 10% of your max when you go to the next screen.
· The game would be tremendously better if you didn't have to fucking pick-up the dropped potions made from alchemy nonsense. Just go right back into the pouch, for the love of Christ.
I just got this a little while ago and I am a little discouraged. This game is fucking beautiful there is no denying that, and it is because of its looks that I want to keep playing. BUT, the game is so fucking repetitive, and I'm only on the Pooka Prince, I'm really not looking forward to grinding my way through this thing three more times.
