Into the art book? I imagine he wouldn't. can't HUE's stuff is good as doujinshi, but it's a pale imitation of Suzuki's art.
I asked about can't HUE in general, but that was another of the questions he refused to answer. He must not be a fan.

I was asking where he fit into the whole Ikaruga thing. Doujinshi only? Thought so, but wanted to check. I don't really follow this series or any of the artists. The Cave artists/enthusiasts seem to be more of a family. Many of them participated on Arcade is God... some even Doujinshi artists (Chako). In fact, I know Kadotsukasa & Junya Inoue have both participated in Chako's doujinshi.Quote:

Oh, yeah. can't HUE is just a fan. Suzuki did everything except the backgrounds (which were done by Iuchi and one of G.rev's guys Hideyuki Katoh)
This is out. I finally got my copy. Even got a little mention in the articles section and in the special thanks.

Pretty nice collection. It's very complete. Only notable omission is the stuff he did for Square. I guess they wouldn't give permission. I like that the Zone of Enders stuff he did was in there, as I always wanted to see that.
The book mentions an extended version of Phantoms is going to be published as a one-off book, too, which is pretty neat.
The best part is I got mine for $5 shipped I think. Still waiting for it though.
It's a well-made artbook, the plastic slipcover is a nice touch. I would have liked the portraits from Ikaruga included if only for the high quality of the paper really bringing out the detail in the works.
Congrads Frog on your mention. *-neo
Yeah, you got me there.
I'm a bit underwhelmed. I would have liked to have seen more concepts and early drawings. The zone of the enders stuff was cool though.
