Clover studios now "Seeds" with a big trifecta hiring.

I've never been one to follow developer hype. I'd rather judge each game on a case by case basis. Ubisofts the only publisher lately that's been churning out almost exclusively awesome stuff.

Though I also avoid any sort of developer loyalties, I make exceptions for Clover and Team ICO. They'll end up with occasional bad games if they're at it long enough, but I imagine they'll always--at the very least--be interesting.

if godhand werent so over the top flamboyant, it woudl have lacked what made it stand out in the first place. thats like saying that okami would have sold great if it didnt have cel shading.

For one, the cover of the game is really bad. Doesn't draw anyone in.

For two, flamboyancy = stupid

I predict this will mean good things for the Xbox 360. MS loves to sign checks to these new offshoot companies.

That would probably work for Seeds, as I previously suggested they might have trouble getting funding with their quirky development. Wonder if Microsoft would be willing to invest in someone like Seeds, though, after their SEGA stuff for Xbox sorta bombed.

It would be good, though. I'd like to see Seeds work without inhibitions. Like worrying about shareholders.
